Conrad's Bailiwick

Random thoughts from a lawyer trapped at a desk with a decent view. Like most young adults, I wish it had taken me 5 years instead of 4 to graduate college. I miss the times in life where the toughest decision was beer or hard liquor (never one to mix the two in the same night). Luckily, I have an outlet as a host on the local ESPN Radio affiliate, WSZ radio (1570 in Louisville, 1600 in Emminence, and 1250 in Lexington).

Blast from the Past

UK fans surely remember Michael Southall. He was the first of the 7 Foot Center Projects that Tubby recruited. He signed a LOI and even played in the Derby Festival Classic. He was one of the few players that I worried might get embarassed. After watching a few days of practice, it was obvious that he was in over his tall head. Luckily for Wildcat fans, he got in trouble with the law before arriving in Lexington and Tubby was able rescind that scholarship offer.

I spotted him while watching Taquan Dean in the Orlando NBA Pre-Draft camp this weekend. I laughed for probably five minutes before I regained my compsure.
